COURSE OVERVIEW
– Overview of asset criticality ranking in factory and the way to build predictive maintenance program, condition monitoring electric motors and VFDs.
– Fault zones of electric motor: power quality, power circuit, stator, rotor, air-gap, insulation system, mechanical issues, VFD’s effects.
– Testing & Analyzing technologies for each faut zones:
+ Power quality, parameters, standard and analyzing methods
+ Infrared thermal scan
+ Motor current signature analysis (MCSA), Demodulation
+ Winding resistance, inductance, rotor influence check (RIC)
+ Insulation resistance, PI/DA, PI profile, step voltage test, ramp test, surge test, dissipation factor
+ Partial discharge analysis
+ Vibration analysis, ultrasound testing, shock-pulse method
+ VFD’s online testing including rectifier, DC bus, inverter, reflective voltage, bearing discharge
– Combining multiple technologies for a comprehensive condition assessment program of electric motors and VFDs.
